Addressing the permission of the artist - group
To start the filming process of our chosen song, first we had to make sure
that this was alright with the artist whos song we would use. we have chosen to
use the song ' To Anyone' by the Crystal Whites, a local band who we know
personally having all members of the band having attended our school and being
good friends with them, their consent was easily accessible.To go about addressing the band we contacted them through their Facebook page, a destination where the video may be screened when finished.
Having already discussed certain arrangements with the band we sent a short message explaining our want to use their song, which they promoted and backed with enthusiasm and excitement. they explained that they had not had a proper music video made before and that a video could help to promote them on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter aswell as on their Youtube account.

Unsigned Band Research
The Crystal Whites are an unsigned band located in Middlesex. The Crystal Whites are an alternative/indie rock band who, despite consisting mainly of members aged only nineteen, have already established their own solid, unique sound.
From gaining access to their own facebook fan page, we were able to find out the following pieces of general information.
The unsigned Band uses social networking sites such as facebook and twitter as a main method of advertising their music and gaining followers. There facebook fan page was set up on 04/03/2012 and has got 383 likes on their page since it was set up.
The Crystal whites were put together by Adam Ferguson who is the Vocalist/Guitarist. He writes the music for the Band and His younger brother,
