Through previous audience feedback upon our original magazine advert, it did not execute the feedback we hoped for. As a result we needed to make significant changes to produce a sustainable piece of work for our band 'The Crystal Whites'.
Our first attempt is shown below:
We realised this wasn't our best piece of work. Furthermore, we had already changed our featuring image on the front of our Digipak so we needed to remove the image on our cover anyway. Instead, we completely changed our poster and we are a lot happier with the final outcome.
Compared to our previous Magazine, we have used an image which reflects the genre of our band, rather than just an image of their faces. We have presented our 3 band members in a way that focuses around their instruments, as well as their appearance. Highlighting how the Indie/rock genre includes a large amount of performance shots throughout their music videos. This has been something we incorporated in our video and now for our magazine.
